Journaling - your key to recovery

A personal journal  to record your symptoms can be downloaded or you can complete it online.   Once the site is complete, it will be interactive and you will be able to compare your symptoms and thryoid hormone levels to others at the same stage of recovery.

The site also provides links to other thyroid information sites, referral information and community forums.

It is hoped that the collective widsom of thyroid patients will help people recover faster with less frustration.  This project is part of the Health 2.0 movement.

Step 1 Go to the symptom survey and fill out the symptom list.

You can use the symptom list to track your progress once a month.

Compare your results to others who have completed the questionnaire.

OR

Print out the file with the symptom list and use it as a log to track your own symptoms over time.

A link to the questionniare  to download is shown below.

Step 2 Take your questionnaire to your doctor so you and your doctors can assess your need to re-adjust your medication.

Step 3 Check out the self-help information symptom management. Join one of the chat rooms or Facebook Groups to chat with others.

Step 4
Blog about your experiences and share them with others.
